How we weigh applications

Community involvement counts.

It is one of the things we look at when we consider an application — a deliberate signal that this fund values the ways students show up for the people around them.

Trust & transparency

Built to be understood, not just trusted.

We keep the way this fund works out in the open. Here are the questions people ask most — answered plainly.

Who is this fund for?

Palestinian students in Gaza whose education is at risk because of financial barriers. REF helps remove these obstacles so they can continue their studies and move toward graduation.

How are applications considered?

Applications are reviewed with care against clear criteria. Community involvement carries a defined weight in that consideration — a deliberate reflection of what this fund values.

Why does community matter here?

Because this fund is built and sustained together. Community involvement is not a slogan — it is woven into how the fund is funded and how applicants are considered.

How do you stay transparent?

By keeping the way we work clear and open. We’d rather be understood than simply assumed trustworthy — so we explain our process in plain language.
